Noise Awareness in Construction

Over 170,000 people in the UK have reported significant hearing damage related to their work or workplace. Unfortunately for us, our ears are extremely sensitive and they can be damaged very easily.

People working in construction are even more likely to suffer damage due to noisy working conditions and equipment.

This noise awareness course has be designed to explain how damage is done, what sort of noise may cause damage and what can be done to reduce the chances of hearing damage. It includes a downloadable resource which explains the maximum time you can spend within different exposure levels over a day.

It explains the responsibilities of employers and employees required by the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.

Who is our Noise Awareness Training for?

This course is perfect for anyone who regularly works in environments or uses equipment that exposes them to high levels of noise. The course may also prompt you to assess your workplace and identify specific places or things that could expose workers to dangerous levels of noise, allowing you to take necessary measures and minimise risks to your health and safety.
